Welcome to Map Your Story Studios, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Map Your Story challenges and any other programs, courses, memberships, digital content, or services we offer now or in the future (collectively, the "Platform" and/or "Offers"), whether delivered through Membership.io or any other platform we use.

By accessing or using the Platform, registering for any Offer, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to users who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

1. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, in our sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any posted update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

2. Platform Access & Account Security

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of security
• Logging out at the end of each session, particularly on shared or public devices

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that doing so is necessary to protect the Company or its community.

3. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and completion of any required purchase, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform and its content solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Share, transfer, sublicense, or provide access to your account or any content to any third party
• Copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from the Platform
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on Platform content
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit any Platform content or access
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from any software associated with the Platform
• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security or access controls

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to videos, worksheets, workbooks, frameworks, templates, graphics, written materials, course content, branding, and the compilation thereof — is the exclusive intellectual property of Map Your Story Studios, LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Map Your Story Studios name, logo, tagline, and all related marks are trademarks of the Company. You may not use any of our marks without our prior written permission.

Your purchase or download of any content does not transfer ownership or any intellectual property rights to you. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the Company.

5. Payment & Refund Policy

3-Day Map Your Story Challenge

All sales for the 3-Day Map Your Story Challenge are final. Due to the immediate digital delivery of challenge access and materials upon purchase, we do not offer refunds, transfers, or credits for any reason. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

Future Offers (Memberships, Courses & Programs)

Refund and cancellation terms for future memberships, courses, and other programs will be stated specifically at the point of purchase and in any applicable program-specific terms and conditions, which will be incorporated into these Terms by reference. In the event of any conflict between program-specific terms and these Terms, the program-specific terms will control with respect to refund and cancellation matters.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. The Company is not responsible for payment processing errors, delays, or disputes arising from your payment provider. Upon a valid refund determination (where applicable), we will promptly instruct our payment processor to issue the refund, though we do not control processing timelines.

If you receive a refund under any applicable program terms, your license to access and use all associated materials is immediately revoked. You agree to cease use of and destroy all copies of any materials received.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for any content you post, upload, submit, or share on the Platform or in any associated community spaces ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Map Your Story Studios, LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely in connection with operating and improving the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to submit your User Content, and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

7. Community Standards & Prohibited Conduct

Our Platform may include community spaces such as group forums, comment sections, or other communication features. You agree to engage respectfully and professionally. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or discrimination of any kind
• Sexual or explicit content, including anything involving minors
• Graphic violence or content promoting self-harm
• Spam, unsolicited promotional content, or pyramid schemes
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates anyone's privacy
• Illegal activity or instructions for illegal conduct
• Impersonation of any person or entity
• Collecting other users' personal information without their consent

We reserve the right — but are not obligated — to monitor, remove, or restrict any content or user access at our sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.

8. Educational Purpose & No Professional Advice

All content on the Platform is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in our content should be construed as legal, financial, tax, psychological, or any other form of professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on any information obtained through the Platform.

9. No Guarantees as to Results

We provide tools, frameworks, and educational content designed to support your writing journey. However, we make no guarantees about specific outcomes or results. Your success depends on your own efforts, circumstances, consistency, and many factors outside our knowledge or control.

Testimonials and results shared by other participants are not guarantees that you will achieve similar results.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAP YOUR STORY STUDIOS, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time without notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MAP YOUR STORY STUDIOS, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

If, notwithstanding the above, the Company is found liable, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Company in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to take full personal responsibility for any harm or damage resulting from your use — or non-use — of Platform content. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or incidental damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Map Your Story Studios, LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your use of or access to the Platform
• Any User Content you submit
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or any Offer provided by the Company shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration — not through a court or jury trial.

Arbitration shall take place in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body. You expressly waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to bear all costs associated with initiating and administering arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect intellectual property rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

15. Links to Third-Party Sites & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement of those sites or their content. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms and policies.

16. Electronic Communications

By using the Platform or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including emails, notifications, and updates. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

17. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you are solely responsible for compliance with your local laws and regulations. You agree not to use Platform content in any manner prohibited by applicable law.

18. No Joint Venture or Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates a joint venture, partnership, employment, franchise, or agency relationship between you and the Company. You have no authority to bind the Company in any manner.

19. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable program-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Platform and supersede all prior communications or agreements.
